Global online auction returns and targets the £1 million mark

A global charity auction that has raised more than £870,000 since its inception is getting set to try and break the £1 million mark for national and local charities.
The Ultimate Charity Auction has seen the incredible six-figure sum raised in just four years thanks to a host of star-studded donations from the world of sport, celebrity and lifestyle.

The auction, headed by Gina Long MBE, will again follow the popular and transparent format of offering a glittering array of prizes between Saturday 22nd October and Sunday 6th November.

Star lots include VIP experiences at Barcelona, Manchester United or the Badminton Horse Trials, record your own single at a top music studio, enjoy the glitz and glamour of next year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev, sail on the magnificent Akasha catamaran around the British Virgin Islands or meet and greet Strictly Come Dancing star Anton du Beke.

The Suffolk-based auction has once again enjoyed wonderful support from within its home county from the likes of Maison Bleue, Beatles photographer Tom Murray, a VIP Latitude Festival experience and a host of renowned hotel and restaurant packages.

Gina said: “The auction has become a global charity phenomenon, but this wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of all our donors from day one.

“I never take for granted the support we receive for the auction. If anyone is able to donate a money-can’t-buy experience, we would love to hear from them as we work ever so hard to try and break that £1 million mark.

“Whether donating a money-can’t-buy prize or experience, or simply spreading the word through social media or among friends and family, you could make a big difference to the people supported by these wonderful charities.”
